Project Administrator, University of Alabama Statewide Human Trafficking Protocol
With a BA in Philosophy and an MBA, Chris Lim is a 14 year veteran of law enforcement with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. After working in law enforcement, Chris was the VP of Justice and Restoration with Saving Innocence, an organization in Los Angeles that works with minors who are victims of sex trafficking. He also served as Chief Operating Officer at End Slavery Tennessee and internationally as a volunteer in the Middle East, Kenya, Cambodia and the Philippines where he consulted, provided security for victims of police abuse, and worked in an undercover capacity in brothels and massage parlors to help victims of human trafficking. The University of Alabama has recently brought Chris on to create the Alabama Uniform Integrated Human Trafficking Intiative, a comprehensive and collaborative statewide guide for best practices regarding human trafficking.
