The Highs and Lows of Discovering Effective Programming for Populations with Complex Trauma

The workshop will discuss the process that Providence Place engaged in to establish programming for populations with complex trauma over the last three years. Participants will learn how to create a logic model and how that is incorporated into developing an effective program design. Participants will then learn how to manifest theory into practice by learning how to engage program participants in the establishment of program procedures and policies. Discussions will then be focused on how to monitor process implementation and evaluation. Participants will learn strategies and methods to use program data to continue to influence and inform best practices and establish realistic program outcomes for survivors in housing programs. The workshop will also discuss how to keep team members motivated and organizational self-care practices that enhance service delivery. Participants will be able to engage in a realistic and transparent discussion regarding the challenges encountered and lessons learned.
