The Program Director oversees and directs staffing, administration and execution of all aspects of the program and house operations in accordance with the mission, values and goals of Refuge for Women. This position will supervise program staff and volunteers and model healthy and loving relational boundaries in a home environment as residents heal and learn successful life skills. Primary responsibilities include interviewing potential residents, oversight of intake process, directing of programming/scheduling, leading classes, teaching, coaching and counseling residents in addition to operational tasks such as budgeting, reports, staff development and implementation of policies and procedures. Successful candidates should have strong written and verbal communications skills (including Word, Excel and Google Email and applications), strong project management, servant leadership and teamwork skills and be self-motivated and willing to adapt to frequently changing priorities. Bachelor's Degree in counseling, social work or related field preferred but will consider related experience. Certification or experience working with women in recovery from addictions is desired as is demonstrated understanding and implementation of trauma-informed, recovery-oriented therapeutic practices.
