Position Title: Human Trafficking Outreach Coordinator
Reports To: Deputy Director of the Family Sunshine Center
Status: Full-Time/Exempt
Worksite: FSC Administrative Office
Summary: To coordinate FSC’s effective participation in the Alabama Anti- Human Trafficking Alliance and inform individuals of the availability of FSC services for victims of human trafficking through presentations and materials that will be distributed to social service agencies, businesses, schools, civic organizations and other groups.

1. Coordinate the agency’s participation in the Alabama Anti-Human Trafficking Alliance to include meetings, protocol development, referral processes, data collection, etc.
2. Present information about available human trafficking services and promote access to needed victim assistance in businesses, schools, churches, community groups, etc. under the direct supervision and leadership of the Deputy Director;
3. Promote victim awareness of service availability, and access to victim services, through presentations and public speaking, the distribution of literature, and participation in community events;
4. Document and report data related to outreach efforts and activities for grant purposes;
5. Attend various human trafficking task force/alliance meetings to understand outreach print and web-based material development needs;
6. Work closely with human trafficking direct service staff and partners to develop and utilize evaluation tools to determine a victim information sharing process and outcome measurements;
7. Create, evaluate, and maintain outreach print and web-based materials for human trafficking;
8. Work closely with agency public relations teams to distribute victim handout materials, fact sheets, brochures, posters, etc. to be used at awareness events and efforts;
9. Participate in ongoing training and development related to human trafficking to stay informed of issues and appropriate victim services;
10. Train and provide orientation to partners and volunteers engaged in human trafficking program activities;
11. Perform other tasks as requested by the Deputy Director.

• Bachelor's Degree in education, social services, marketing or related field or a minimum of 5 years equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience working with crime victims
• Demonstrated experience working with law enforcement personnel; experience working across multiple levels of law enforcement, or across multiple agencies, strongly preferred

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to work independently within established parameters
• Ability to learn, demonstrate, and appreciate the effects of trauma as a result of domestic violence, sexual violence and human trafficking
• Proficient written and oral communication with the demonstrated ability to tailor a presentation and speak to a specialized audience
• Ability and experience working with a variety of groups (i.e., agencies, community stakeholders, non-profit groups, various professional businesses, teachers, parents, community leaders) and diverse populations
• Ability to focus and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines with a high degree of proficiency
• Strong computer skills in current Microsoft applications to include Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT, and Publisher; Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
• Demonstrate excellent organizational and project management skills including the ability to plan, prioritize and complete multiple projects with excellence and attention to detail

Travel Requirements:
• Local, state and national travel as needed for coordination, training, and outreach activities; reliable transportation and liability insurance coverage is required
