About the organization

We are a 501(c)3 fighting against Human Trafficking in Eastern Iowa and beyond. We offer the following services:

  • Survivor Advocacy
    • We offer Survivor Advocacy for women of all ages, that have survived Human Trafficking, through one-on-one mentoring, as well as
    • Weekly classes
  • Restoration Housing (opened March, 2020)
    • We offer a housing program for adult (>18 yo) women who have been victimized by Human Trafficking. This program is intended to provide support and guideance as they transition into independent living, and includes:
      • Advocacy - we want to walk together and support them as needed, as they navigate their journey to independent living
      • Participation in weekly classes and mental health services is mandatory
      • Rent/utilities based on a sliding-scale
      • Other items on a case-by-case basis (transportation, further education, employment assistance, etc.)
  • Education:
    • Staff, students and parents through our School Project
    • Staff through our Hotel/Motel Project
    • The general community through our Awareness/Action Project
    • Staff through our Financial Institution Project
    • Partner with Mercy Medical Center in educating staff at hospitals and clinics through a Medical Project
  • Coalition:
    • Our community comes together once a quarter to network, receive education and updates, as well as take action on issues affecting the anti-human trafficking movement
  • International Work:
    • We currently fight Human Trafficking in Guatemala, working with several partners to provide prevention education, as well as build a Restoration Home.
